When he isn’t performing, Dave is busy with his business, Wilson Audio Specialties, a company he co-founded with his wife Sheryl Lee Jamison in 1974. The company is a recognized leader in the high-end loudspeaker industry.

In addition to playing saxophone, Wilson is also an accomplished clarinetist and bass player. He has played in a variety of musical settings from classical music to pop and has studied with saxophonists Bill Barron, Joe Lovano, Ralph Lalama, and others.

Wilson has performed in New York City at Somethin’s Jazz Club and The Garage and has made numerous appearances at Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia as well as performing at venues in Harrisburg, Scranton, and the Berks Jazz Festival.

He has released four CDs with his own band and has worked with internationally known pianist Phil Markowitz, bassist Tony Marino, and drummer Adam Nussbaum. His latest release “One Night at Chris'” achieved Chartbound status (top 50 nationwide) on Jazz Radio and received three stars in DownBeat Magazine.

Dave Wilson was born in Richmond, Ottawa, Canada and he is currently living in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been married to Canadian actress, Kortney Wilson since 2002 and they have 3 kids together.

When he was younger, he was in a four-piece band and lived in London. Later, he moved to Nashville and signed a solo deal with Lyric Street Records. He also teamed up with his ex-wife, Kortney and they became a duo, The Wilsons.

Wilson had a big heart and was always generous with his money. He supported local fundraisers and even started a Homeless Backpack program that provides high school students with food on the weekends. He was a great guy who was very well-loved by his community.

HGTV’s Masters of Flip featured them as they renovated houses in the Nashville area to resell at the best profit margin. However, after a year of airing, Dave decided to leave the show for unknown reasons.

While fans were disappointed, they were still happy to see them back on HGTV. The network released a new series titled Making It Home with Kortney and Dave, which is geared toward turning fixer-upper houses into homes with strategic financial planning.
