Honor is back after taking a brief hiatus, with this impressive phone featuring an incredible 90Hz screen refresh rate and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification.

At only 177g, it is lightweight and thin. Unfortunately, one-handed use may prove challenging due to its height.

6.7-inch HONOR FullView Display

The HONOR X8 delivers an unforgettable experience with its slim and stylish design combined with cutting-edge technologies. As part of HONOR’s trusted X Series, it comes in three eye-catching colors – Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black – making this smartphone truly memorable.

It boasts an expansive 6.7-inch FullView display with ultra narrow bezels, an eye-catching hole punch design and a 90Hz refresh rate for an amazing visual experience. Furthermore, its 4000mAh battery can easily last two days with light use using power saving settings and features like Smart Data Saver.

Attractively, the HONOR X8 is an appealingly slim and light device, at 7.45mm thickness and 177g weight – comparable to devices at much higher price points.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform

Honor’s latest offering in its X series is the HONOR X8 smartphone, providing users with an excellent smartphone experience at an economical price point.

This new device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 mobile platform, featuring an octa-core processor with two clusters of cores: faster (up to 2.4 GHz) and power efficient (1.90 GHz).

It features a 64MP ultra-clear main camera, 5MP wide angle camera and 2M sensing macro camera to deliver an outstanding photography experience. Furthermore, advanced eye protection features like TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification and eBook Mode ensure an optimal viewing experience.

HONOR RAM Turbo

HONOR has launched its innovative X Series smartphone with the HONOR X8, featuring cutting-edge technology, features, and style. You can pre-order this phone starting March 24th on HONOR Online Store, Sharaf DG Stores, Emax Stores, Jumbo stores and Carrefour Stores starting at AED 899 including free HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X!

The HONOR X8 features the familiar Snapdragon 680 mobile platform and 6GB of RAM, making it suitable for everyday tasks such as browsing Instagram or using multiple social media apps with picture-in-picture capabilities, but can struggle when running heavy applications. RAM Turbo from HONOR provides an effective solution by increasing performance by up to 2GB with dynamic group compression and super memory flash fusion technology.

64MP Ultra-clear Main Camera

Honor X8 is an affordable smartphone that delivers on its promise of sleek design combined with powerful hardware. Ideal for anyone seeking a high-performing phone featuring large displays and reliable camera systems.

This quad-camera primary setup consists of a 64MP sensor which will cover most of your photography needs. There’s also a 5MP ultra-wide camera for wider angle shots and 2MP macro sensor for close-up shots.

Overall, the camera performs impressively well, particularly under bright lighting conditions. There is great detail, contrast, and dynamic range; Portrait mode works relatively well too.

5MP Wide Angle Camera

The quad-camera setup on the X8 features a 64MP main sensor paired with 5MP ultrawide lens and two 2MP depth and macro assistants, and features no distorting ultrawide lenses like those found on other smartphones. However, the X8 does a fairly good job at producing them.

Photos captured with a wide lens during daylight are crisp and detailed, featuring good dynamic range and colors. However, images taken with it in low-light environments fall below those taken with the main camera, appearing less crisp with reduced contrast levels and flatter and washed-out colors than its main sensor – yet are still good enough for everyday use.

16MP Front Camera

Honor has taken an alternative route with their PS200 rivals in creating the Honor X8 smartphone, yet still delivers excellent value for money. Featuring a 6.7″ display, Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, and 6GB RAM.

The interface is user-friendly yet functionally efficient, enabling you to edit photos with Google Lens support, crop, adjust (brightness, contrast, white balance), filter, markup and other features.

The front camera features a 16MP sensor which offers well-balanced colors and decent sharpness for selfies, and 2x zoom photos look particularly well at 2x magnification. Unfortunately, ultra wide shots show less detail with flatter tones that make for unattractive shots overall.
